MacKellar Associates was a recipient of the 2023 Rochester Hills Mayor's Business Council Champion Award during a December dinner venue at 429 Main. This award recognized three companies within the community that have championed the year with great accomplishments.
MacKellar Associates was nominated because 2023 marked an incredible milestone - 100 years in business. This is something very few companies come to celebrate. The story of the company's pivoted operations, growth in Rochester Hills, philanthropic efforts (connection with Leader Dogs for the Blind) and our recognition from dBusiness for 2023 Corporate Culture Awards for DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and Workplace Flexibility, made MacKellar a company worth recognizing and celebrating.
Mayor Bryan Barnett celebrated the outstanding achievements of Molex and Serra Automotive as well. The Executive Leadership Award went to Susan Daniels, who just recently retired from her role as CEO & President of Leader Dogs for the Blind after 20 years.
